Consumer insights:

Having worked in many different design capacities for both agencies and in corporate settings, I have developed a wide variety of design skills that help me support design projects from Pre-Brief through to Production. By utilizing these skills I am able to translate consumer research into effective and well-received products.

Understanding Packaging Semiotics:

Use real-time consumer interactive sketching in focus groups to generate rich consumer insights into the best packaging semiotics that helped build a better project brief

Interactive Consumer Sketching

I used my sketching abilities to support consumer marketing insight & consumer technology insights by translating consumer research & ideas into actionable insights that helped build better project briefs, leading to well-received products

I developed methods for embedding real-time consumer interactive sketching in focus groups, where designers pair with consumers to sketch ideas together. Quick sketches are refined in real-time with the group, and inputs are ranked by emotional response. The sketches and videos will help Unilever’s CMI/CTI and Ipsos Market research groups develop final insights.

Working with Unilever’s Consumer Insights Group:

Example of sketches:

Here are a few sketches developed with consumer input during an interactive sketch session. These sketches were done with consumers from Japan for a prestige brand.

The Consumer Insights Team:

Would use these images and Consumer feedback to generate rich consumer insights that helped build the project brief. Those insights were then used as the base for marketing workshops that lead to the crafting of robust design brief which improved the chance of a successful product making it to market.
